conservative vs liberal

Conservative Vs Liberal

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn`t buy one.
If a liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands everyone know it & legislative legitimacy.

If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A liberal wonders what government program is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
(Unless it’s a foreign religion, especially Islam, of course!)

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his thru the government.

If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed.
If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.

If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A liberal will delete it because he's "offended" and tell you to "TAKE HIM OFF YOUR E-MAIL LIST" and do not ever send him another (yes they do).
“Live FREE or die”!!!

What is freedom?

Freedom is not free.

Freedom is not the license to do whatever you desire.
It is the opportunity to become who you are.

Existentially speaking, we are "condemned to freedom" as Sartre stated.

True liberty is living as we should, not as we please

There exists nothing like the so-called absolute liberty, there has to be
guidelines for liberty. This is established so that nobody could misuse one's
liberty against oneself or others. You are free in all what you do in a way
that does not violate other people's rights and liberties.

James 1:25 - But he who looks into the perfect law,
the law of liberty, and perseveres,
being no hearer that forgets, but a doer that acts,
he shall be blessed in his doing.

The Bill of Rights was attached to the Constitution to ensure that the people of the United States of America remain a free people. It was given to ensure that the people would always retain the ability to change the government when said government started to usurp unlawful authority over the daily affairs of individuals, usurping their rights in exchange for some so called rights of the State or the rights of a political majority ( or minority, as the case may be).

THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or of the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

THE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

THE NINTH AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

current white house war on FOX

First I must say, I have watched fox about 3 times ever, mostly because I don't watch television news. I do however find Glenn Beck amusing from the clips I have seen. The rest of the clowns on there I could do without. That said I really don't understand why the whitehouse would be waging a war against them. The must really hate our freedoms. I am not sure if it is coming straight from Obama or just some of his so called "czars".
We should all be concerned about this however because it is a direct assault on our basic freedom of the press and freedom of speech.
So please do comment.
